INTRODUCING OUR HERD SIRES:

Big Kahuna we purchased at the 2009 Two Oaks Red Angus production sale. He is  a thick son of HXC Steakmaster 6000S. With a 17.31 REA and a 1332# yearling weight he piles a lot of thickness into his 6 frame. Be sure to check out his page and his pedigree.

Mission Specialist is a bull we produced from an embryo, we plan to use him on first calf heifers. We are excited by his excellent carcass scans and performance. Combining LJC Mission Statement P27, Beckton Julian GG B571, and BFCK Cherokee CNYN 4912 stacks the genetics to make him a great sire.

    MMN Marias K66 sire was born 2/10/00 at 82 pounds, sired by Glacier Marias 548, the #1 Red Angus carcass bull, with a 205 day weight of 659 and a ratio of 105 and a 365 day weight of 1248 to ratio at 107.

    RHRA Yogo 904-6 was born 2/9/94. His sire, BJR Yogo 002-104, was a weaning and yearling weight leader two consecutive years. His dam, JRA James 904, was the top total maternal cow while her dam was #2. He is a great combination of growth and maternal ability that’s hard to find. He puts more rib eye into his calves and sires choice carcasses.

    Meado-West Jazz: FCC Rambo, the sire of Jazz, is one of the most popular and proven sires in the Red Angus breed, having put up a 134 weaning weight ratio and a 126 ratio at yearling. Jazz's own record follows this pattern, as he recorded an outstanding 894 lb. weaning weight (113 ratio) with only an 80 lb. birth weight. His yearling carcass measurements are 4.34% intramuscular fat, 13.85 square inch. rib eye and .23 in, back fat. This bull is thick, stylish, clean fronted, very correct, and has a gentle disposition. Combine this with his excellent numbers, and Jazz proves to be an terrific sire.
